Core leather, soft

Our core leather sides, s-mild, 0.8 mm, are obtained from southern German cattle and 100% vegetable tanned. This means that raw material is selected that exhibits a very uniform thickness. Tanning is strictly monitored, meaning we can guarantee that it is free of any toxins. Lightfastness cannot be guaranteed in the case of purely vegetable tanning. This results in a patina after a certain amount of time that makes each piece unique. However, the leather is a durable and high-quality product that remains kind to the skin. Orthopaedic uses are for sewing in splints, inlays and prosthetic hands.
