Description

Our elk leather created purely through chamoising is distinguished by the special tanning process employed. Chamois tanning is an oil tanning process. This makes it kind to the skin, and it does not attack any metals over the years. Elk double shoulder is merely a section in the neck area. Knife cuts are created on the velour side during skinning. Insect bites mark elk hides on the grain side. This is perfectly natural and not a defect that would be grounds for a complaint.
