Description

Our pulpet leather is also known as kid leather and is often used in organ building, among other things, for the manufacture of pulpets and membranes. It is also used to cover high-quality saxophone pads. Particularly fine gloves are made from this leather. The extra-thin variety is made thinner through a very labor-intensive process. The leather is additionally washed in a special machine, folded, milled, and greased. Finally, the individual hides are remeasured; this measurement is necessary because the folding process results in a significant loss of dimensions. Note: Kidskin-like. Our “kidskin” is traditionally referred to as such, but is actually made from lambskin.
